Titus Welliver is an American Actor. He was born on March 12, 1962 and is best-known for his performances in the role of the Man in Black in Lost, Silas Adams in Deadwood, Jimmy O’Phelan in Sons of Anarchy, and the titular role in the Television series Bosch and Bosch: Legacy.

Welliver was born in New Haven, Connecticut. Neil Welliver, his father, was a well-known American landscape painter who taught fine art at Yale University before serving as dean of the Graduate School of Fine Art at the University of Pennsylvania. Welliver has experienced losses throughout his life. In the spring of 1976, his younger sister Ashley Welliver passed away from sudden infant death syndrome, and on October 29, 1976, his 38-year-old stepmother Polly Mudge Welliver also passed away from a strep infection.
In the middle of May 1991, during an attempted robbery at a bar close to Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand, his younger brother, Eli Lustman Welliver, age 21, died from an accidental overdose after being spiked with heroin. On February 16, 2002, his 45-year-old brother older brother Silas Bartley Welliver passed away from muscular dystrophy, and on October 23, 2012, his fourth wife, the producer who was a Movie Producer Elizabeth W. Alexander, passed away from Breast Cancer.
