Nick Frost Biography, Life and Education
Nick Frost was born in Hornchurch, East London, the son of office furniture designers John Frost and his Welsh wife, Tricia (died 2005). When he was 10, his 18-year-old sister passed away from asthma attack. He attended Beal High School in Ilford. Frost’s parents lost their home their business when he was 15 years old. He saw his mother suffer a stroke after they moved in with neighbors because of the stress.
Frost dropped out of school and started working for a shipping company to help out the family. He then worked for two years at a kibbutz in Israel. While waiting tables at a Mexican restaurant in North London, he met actor Simon Pegg, with whom he later became good friends and shared a flat. In the cult comedy series Spaced, Pegg and Jessica Hynes created a persona for Frost that was partially based on their own and Frost’s way of living at the time.

Nick Frost’s Career
Nick Frost has acted in the television sitcom Spaced (1999-2001) as well as the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy of films, which includes Shaun of the Dead (2004), Hot Fuzz (2007), and The World’s End (2013). Additionally, he was in Joe Cornish’s movie Attack the Block (2011). He co-wrote the 2011 movie Paul with his close friend and longtime colleague Simon Pegg, and also co-starred in it. He also played a number of characters in the sketch series Man Stroke Woman. He and Pegg co-created and acted in Truth Seekers, a paranormal comedy-horror series, in 2020.
